Almost a month has passed in thesummer transfer window and Arsenalremain without a single first-team signing. Manchester City, Chelsea, Liverpool and Manchester United have brought in players since the start of June, but the Gunners have failed to get a deal over the line.
Despite this, it appears as though Mikel Arteta's side are working hard to strengthen the squad. A deal for Martin Zubimendi to sign for £51million from Real Sociedad is close - while Kepa Arrizabalaga is expected to bolster their goalkeeping department in a £5m transfer from Chelsea.
Elsewhere, Arsenal want to snap-up a new No.9. Benjamin Sesko and Viktor Gyokeres have both been linked with a move to the Emirates Stadium and appear to be leading the race right now.

With this in mind, football.london has taken a look at the latest transfer news from Arsenal...
Sesko demandSesko is Arsenal's top target for the No.9 position, according to The Sun. It's added that the Gunners are prepared to pay £70million for the 22-year-old, but they face a roadblock due to his wage demands.
Sesko's camp have demanded a much higher salary than what the Gunners initially have outlined for the Slovenia international. That could force a change in direction for Arsenal, with Sporting CP striker Gyokeres earmarked as an immediate alternative to Sesko.
FL says: If Arsenal are unable to convince Benjamin Sesko to make the move to the Emirates Stadium, they should act quick to secure Viktor Gyokeres, as it's imperative that the Gunners sign a new striker. A move for Sesko makes sense considering his age, profile and goal record, and he would be a useful addition.
Partey updateAtletico Madrid have turned their nose up at the chance to re-sign Thomas Partey on a free transfer this summer. The Arsenal midfielder faces an increasingly uncertain future at the Emirates Stadium - with his contract poised to expire at the end of the month.
Earlier this month, Arsenal announced that discussions over a new deal for Partey were ongoing and, once a final decision had been made, they would make a statement. The north Londoners are yet to do so, though, leaving the door open for clubs to sign the 32-year-old on a free transfer.
According to Estadio Deportivo, Atletico have already rejected the idea of bringing Partey back to the Spanish capital. The report claims that Diego Simeone wants to sign Johnny Cardoso instead, who has been linked with a move Tottenham Hotspur this summer.
FL says: I think Arsenal should let Thomas Partey leave and instead look at signing a younger replacement. While the Ghanaian is a crucial member of Arteta's squad, I do believe they can replace him this summer. Lucien Agoume of Sevilla is the man I would look at to come in and strengthen the squad.
Zaire-Emery enquiryArsenal have made an 'enquiry' over a swoop for Paris Saint-Germain star Warren Zaire-Emery, according to TBR Football. The Gunners want to strengthen their midfield this summer, despite the arrival of Martin Zubimendi, as Thomas Partey is set to follow Jorginho out of the Emirates Stadium doors.
Arteta's side are 'keeping close tabs on Zaire-Emery's situation at PSG' after his game time was limited during the second half of the season - due to the form of Vitinha, Joao Neves and Fabian Ruiz.
FL says: If Arsenal sign both Zubimendi and Agoume, they do not need another central midfielder and therefore Warren Zaire-Emery would be out of contention to move to north London. But if there is a chance and space for the Gunners to sign the 19-year-old sensation I think he would be an astute signing.
