E4 Married at First Sight UK star sets record straight on Ekin-Su Culculoglu 'romance'

Married At First Sight groom Georges Berthonneau have slammed reports he is secretly dating star Ekin-Su Culculoglu.

Rumours erupted on Wednesday that the reality stars are dating after they were spied arriving for a sweaty session at a gym together. However, 31-year-old Georges has vehemently denied he in any way romantically attached to - who used to date , 29 - after they were spotted in public together.

The speculation began after the pair arrived at a gym together - with Ekin-Su allegedly riding in the passenger seat of the reality show star's car. They were then snapped together entering a gym - although they kept their distance from each other.

A representative for Georges slammed the rumours, however, telling the Mirror: "I was surprised by the article myself as Georges is happily dating someone not in the public eye. He and are just friends who happened to go to the same gym that day."

famously entered the spotlight in 2022 as a contestant on the eighth season of ITV's where she won the show with then-boyfriend Davide. But the pair explosively broke up months after leaving the villa amid accusations of cheating - and Ekin-Su had a rocky time during her time on Celebrity at the beginning of the year.

Georges, meanwhile, found fame himself on E4's chaotic dating series in 2023 where he tied-the-knot with Peggy Rose Lawrence, 32. The two explosively split amid cheating rumours earlier this year - and this may have cleared a path for Georges to start dating Ekin-Su.

The denial comes after branded Georges as Ekin-Su's "boyfriend" and shared snaps of them arriving at a gym together. The publication has an image they claims shows Georges at the wheel of his car with Ekin-Su riding shotgun beside him. Further snaps show Ekin-Su dressed in a plum coloured cardigan and black leggings while clutching her and a bottle of water - while further images show Georges wearing a dark blue hooded top and shorts. The pair are noticeably not together.

The Sun reported: "[Ekin-Su] was spotted heading to the gym with ... Georges Berthonneau today, just weeks after he gushed about being in a 'dream relationship'. The new couple were seen arriving at the gym in Georges’ car before heading in to work out separately - trying not to be seen together." The has approached a representative of Ekin-Su for comment on this story.
