Taylor Swift was unfazed when she suffered a technical issue while singing Lavender Haze.
is in the final stretch of which saw her take to the road all the way back in March 2023 when she had her opening show in Glendale, Arizona. The star still has just over a month of shows left as she makes her final appearances in North America having already been to South America, , Asia and Europe.
With over 140 dates included in the tour, the chart-topping star has her show down to a slick routine - but disaster struck in Indianapolis, Indiana, on Friday night. The singer was in the midst of performing her 2022 track Lavender Haze during the final Midnights segment of her show when her microphone began to malfunction.
Hesitating on stage at the Lucas Oil Stadium, Taylor didn't stop singing while a technician rushed to her aid and swapped out a battery pack on. Fans were thrilled as she carried on as though nothing was happening - with the crowd breaking into wild cheers when the issue was fixed and she carried on with the show.

Taking to X after the incident, one fan wrote: "Taylor is just the cutest. She brings such warmth and positivity, even during the little moments. Love her." And another typed: "The cutest while getting her mic pack changed."
Earlier this year, Taylor lamented the fact that her huge current tour would have to end at some point. She told an audience in June: "This is the very first time I've ever acknowledged to myself and admitted that this tour is gonna end in December. Like, that's it.
"That feels like so far away from now, but then again, it feels like we just played our first show on this tour because you have made this so much fun for us that we wanted to do 100 shows, 150-something shows that we have on the whole tour."
Fans of the singer are hoping she will release the long-awaited Taylor's Version of her 2017 album Reputation before the end of the year. The singer has been re-releasing re-recorded versions of her first six albums so she can continue to profit from their sales, air play, and live performances.
But one fan of the star has theorised that she won't release the album until 2026, telling Purewow last month: “I don’t think she’ll release the two albums together.
“It’s a fun idea, but what really links the two? They’re not connected musically, and while one is about the start of her career and the other the consequences, there’s not much else tying them together thematically. Instead, I think she’ll stick to her pattern of two re-recordings (Fearless and Red in 2021), new album (Midnights in 2022), two re-recordings (Speak Now and 1989 in 2023) and new album (TTPD in 2024), then two separate re-recordings next year.”
