However, during the maintenance windows, several key services—especially related to UPI and digital transactions—will remain non-functional for a few hours.
⛔ HDFC Bank UPI Services Will Be Down for 4 HoursHDFC Bank has announced that UPI transactions will not be available from 2:30 AM to 6:30 AM on April 12. This includes a 4-hour blackout of several digital services.
❌ Services That Will Be Unavailable:-
UPI payments from HDFC savings and current accounts

UPI transactions using RuPay credit cards

HDFC Mobile Banking App transactions

UPI payments via third-party apps like Google Pay, PhonePe, etc., if linked with HDFC accounts

Merchant transactions processed through HDFC’s UPI gateway
Customers can use PayZapp, HDFC Bank’s own digital wallet, as an alternative during this time. PayZapp supports transactions via credit/debit cards, wallet balance, and even UPI, offering a partial workaround for the downtime.
🛠️ Kotak Mahindra Bank: Services Affected for 15 HoursKotak Mahindra Bank will begin its system maintenance today from 1:00 PM and it will last until 4:00 AM on April 13. This means nearly 15 hours of restricted access to several digital services.
