And in the states, where the benefit of free treatment of Rs 5 lakh is available through this scheme. So for Delhiites it will be 10 lakh. Along with this, the Delhi government has also released information about which ration card holders' Ayushman cards will be made first. Let us tell you which ration card holders are included in this.
Ayushman cards of these ration card holders will be made first
Delhi government's Health Minister Pankaj Kumar Singh said that the Delhi government will first benefit the poor and needy under the Ayushman Bharat scheme. The government said that first of all Ayushman cards will be issued in Delhi to those people. Who have Antyodaya Anna Yojana i.e. AAY ration card. These people will be added to the beneficiary list first. After this, the government will expand the scheme and add the rest of the people. The government said that by April 10, Ayushman cards of at least 1 lakh people will be made.
Free treatment will be of this much amount
Under the Ayushman Bharat scheme implemented by the Delhi government, not only will the benefit of free treatment of Rs 5 lakh be available, but Delhi residents will also be given a top up of Rs 5 lakh. That is, Delhi residents will get a chance to get free treatment of a total of Rs 10 lakh. If we talk about the present, there are more than 70 hospitals in Delhi in which Ayushman card is valid. After the implementation of the scheme, the number of hospitals will be increased by the government.
How to get Ayushman card?
Ayushman card can be made both online and offline. For online, you have to visit the official website https://pmjay.gov.in/ or https://beneficiary.nha.gov.in/. For offline, you can get it made by going to your nearest Common Service Center or Hospital or Public Service Center.
