If you haven’t registered yet for GATE 2026 (Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering), this is your last chance to apply without paying a late fee. The deadline is September 28, 2025. Candidates can apply online via the official website: gate2026.iitg.ac.in.
Candidates who miss this deadline can still apply with a late fee until October 9, 2025.
Who Can Apply?-
Graduates or final-year students in Engineering, Technology, Architecture, Science, Commerce, or Arts/Humanities streams are eligible.

There is no age limit for GATE 2026.

Click on the “Apply Online” link on the homepage.
Fill in the required details to register yourself on the portal.
After registration, log in and complete the GATE 2026 application form, uploading all necessary documents.
Pay the application fee and submit the form.
Take a printout of the submitted form for future reference.

The GATE 2026 exam, initially scheduled for February 7, 8, 14, and 15, 2026, may be rescheduled for some papers (CE, EC, EE, GE, GG, IN, ME, PI) to avoid a clash with UPSC ESE 2026. The updated schedule will be announced on the official website.
