Golden opportunity for mid-career professionals
Through this recruitment drive, UPSC will give an opportunity to those people to become a part of the government who have a deep understanding and work experience in their field. Its purpose is not just to give jobs, but to bring expertise and quality in governance and administration, so that the policies can be grounded and practical.
A great initiative of UPSC
Apart from this, UPSC is now communicating directly with professional bodies, industry associations, and educational institutions so that information about these recruitments reaches as many eligible candidates as possible.
The UPSC Civil Services Examination remains in the headlines every year, but mid-career recruitments often remain without discussion. The result is that fewer applications are received for many important and specialist posts. This is the reason why now information about these recruitments will be conveyed to more and more people through professional bodies, industry associations, and educational institutions.
UPSC wants a partnership with these institutions
If any institution or organization wants to get vacancy information directly from UPSC, then they can register. Partnership is being done with these:
Professional bodies: NMC, ICAI (CA), ICSI, Bar Council, IMA, AIMA, INSA, PCI, INAE, Institution of Engineers (India), etc.
Industry Associations: NASSCOM, FICCI, CII, ASSOCHAM, PHD Chamber of Commerce, etc.
Academic Institutions: IITs, IIMs, NITs, IIITs, ISI, NLUs, Private and Government Universities
Corporations and NGOs: Those interested in public service secondment.
Interested institutions are required to email the Commission at the email ID- ra-upsc@gov.in to obtain recruitment related information or vacancies.
