THIS co-star of Kareena & Alia wanted to be an Army officer; now is an OTT king

Not all actors are overnight successes. In fact, some have to really work hard before making it big. For others, acting was not always the first choice. Today we look at one such artist who was not much when he started off. But today everyone is familiar with his name.

This man actually wanted to be an officer in the Indian Army. He has also acted in films with the likes of Kareena Kapoor Khan and Alia Bhatt. The person we are referring to is an actor of the highest quality, the one and only Jaideep Ahlawat.

Jaideep is currently ruling the OTT circuit. One can call him the king of OTT. Projects such as Pataal Lok, Bloody Brothers and Three Of Us proved to the public that he is an actor of immensely high quality. He acted with Kareena in the Netflix film Jaane Jaan and then mesmerised fans as the villain in Maharaj.

Jaideep did his acting graduation from FTII in 2008. His batchmates were Rajkummar Rao, Vijay Varma, and Sunny Hinduja. This was after he failed to join the Army which was his first choice. He also had done theatre on the side.

Jadieep was born to a family of teachers in Rohtak, Haryana. He went to Government High School, Kharkara. He did a Masters In English from Maharishi Dayanand University. His first break in films came in 2012 in the movie Gangs Of Wasseypur. Earlier he acted in Aakrosh, Khatta Meetha, Chittagong and Rockstar. Later on he was seen in Vishwaroopam, Gabbar Is Back, Raees, Raazi, Baaghi 3, Sandeep Aur Pinky Faraar and An Action Hero. In Raazi he acted with Alia.

He will next be seen in Jewel Thief that will also star Saif Ali Khan. Another project is Ikkis with Agastya Nanda and Dharmendra. Fans are also waiting for the next season of Pataal Lok. Jaideep is now a household name, especially in OTT. He gets better with every performance.
