This also marks a 72% decline from last week’s total of $568.2 million.
Despite the surge in funding value, the number of deals fell to 23 this week, compared to 36 in the year-ago period, according to data from Tracxn. The deals spanned seed, early, and late-stage rounds.

The round also saw participation from existing investor DSG Consumer Partners. The round comprised 70% primary capital and remaining secondary sales by early-stage investors like Insitor and Samunnati, along with Esops.
Complement 1: WhiteHat Jr founder Karan Bajaj’s new healthtech startup Complement 1 has raised $16 million in a seed funding round led by global venture capital fund Owl Ventures and early-stage investor Blume Ventures. The round also saw participation from healthcare-focussed angel investors.

1-India Family Mart: Value retailer 1-India Family Mart has raised $12 million in a funding round from Gulf Islamic Investments, Singapore-based Foundation Private Equity, Carpediem Capital Partners, Capri Global Holdings, and promoter JP Shukla.
