About Saiyaara

Saiyaara is directed by Mohit Suri and produced by Yash Raj Films, is a musical romantic drama starring debutants Ahaan Panday and Aneet Padda. Loosely inspired by the Korean film A Moment to Remember, it tells the story of Krish, a troubled musician, and Vaani, a shy poet scarred by heartbreak. Their friendship blossoms into love as they heal each other through music and writing. Just as they find stability, Vaani is diagnosed with early-onset Alzheimer’s, testing their bond. Krish devotes himself to caring for her, even as her memory fades. She eventually disappears, leaving behind the song “Saiyaara,” which catapults Krish to fame. Their paths cross again when he finds her at an ashram, struggling to remember him. Slowly, fragments of their love return, culminating in a moving reunion at Wembley Stadium. Blending themes of memory, resilience, and art, Saiyaara became a critical and commercial blockbuster, grossing over ₹576 crore worldwide.
