UPSC Indian Forest Service 2024 results declared: How to check your result, see full list of toppers, and key details

The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has released the results for the Indian Forest Service Examination 2024, with Kanika Anabh emerging as the top-ranking candidate among those selected.

The examination took place from November 24 to December 1, 2024, with the subsequent personality tests conducted between April 21 and May 2, 2025. In total, 143 candidates have been recommended for appointment in different categories.

As per the Commission's announcement, the selected candidates include 40 from the General category, 19 from the Economically Weaker Sections (EWS), 50 from Other Backward Classes (OBC), 23 from the Scheduled Castes (SC), and 11 from the Scheduled Tribes (ST). Additionally, two vacancies designated for Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD-1) will be carried over to the next recruitment cycle owing to the absence of qualified applicants.

Candidates can follow these steps to view and download the UPSC IFS 2025 result from the official website:

  • Go to the official UPSC website: upsc.gov.in.

  • On the homepage, find and click on the link labeled “UPSC IFS Result 2025.”

  • You will be taken to a new page where the result PDF will be available for download.

  • Open the PDF to check your result, then download and save it to your device for future reference.

  • According to the UPSC notification, the results of seven candidates have been withheld, and the candidature of 51 individuals remains provisional, subject to verification. Candidates are encouraged to review the official notice available on the UPSC website: upsc.gov.in. The Commission has also mentioned that individual marks will be made available on the website within 15 days of the result announcement.

    The final appointments will be determined by the government, based on the available vacancies and after confirming candidates' eligibility and compliance with the conditions specified in the examination rules.
