Vishal Mega Mart Limited has confirmed a tragic fire incident at one of its subsidiary’s retail stores in Delhi’s Karol Bagh, which resulted in the death of two individuals. The disclosure was made in an official statement under Regulation 30 of SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015.
The fire broke out on the evening of Friday, July 4, 2025, at the store operated by Airplaza Retail Holdings Private Limited, a subsidiary of Vishal Mega Mart. The outlet, located at Shop Nos. 10209 and 10210 on Padam Singh Road near Pizza Hut, Block 14, Karol Bagh, saw a swift evacuation of all patrons, with staff ensuring their safety before the situation escalated.
