Those will have 105 minutes to finish Part B, which consists of 140 questions. The format has changed significantly, with students no longer having the option to go back and edit their answers after the time allotted for a section has passed. This highlights the importance of correctness and time management in each section.

Aspirants will receive four marks for each correct answer; however, a 25% negative marking method will be implemented. The total number of NEET MDS questions is 240, hence the overall score in the exam is 960.
About NEET MDS 2025
The sole entrance test needed for admission to Master of Dental Surgery (MDS) programs in India is the NEET MDS. In addition to serving as a screening test for BDS and MDS students aiming for Short Service Commission in the Army Dental Corps, it includes enrolment for 50% of All India Quota (AIQ) seats, state quota seats in government and private dental colleges, and Armed Forces Medical Services institutions. The lone exception to this centralised procedure is AIIMS New Delhi.
