Youth Returning After Bath In River Stabbed To Death, Miscreants Stabs Him Multiple Times Gouging Out His Intestines

Indore (Madhya Pradesh): A group of miscreants beat and then stabbed to death an 18-year-old youth following a road rage incident on Sunday evening. The youth’s friend also sustained stab injuries. The incident took place under Khudel police station limits here.

As per reports, the youth and two of his friends were returning home after a bath in the river, when their bike collided with that of the accused. After an altercation, the accused stabbed the youth multiple times and the attack was so vicious that his intestines were gouged out. Both the youth and one of his friends (who was also injured) were rushed to hospital, where the youth succumbed to his injuries.

According to the police, the deceased was identified as Sahil alias Salman Khan, a native of Kannod, who worked as a labourer in the Palda area and lived in Nayta Mundla.

DSP (rural headquarters) Umakant Chowdhary said, “The incident occurred on Ujjaini–Sanawadiya Road when the deceased was returning from Ujjaini on a bike with two friends. Their bike collided head-on with another bike carrying three persons, followed by several of their accomplices on other bikes.

A dispute broke out and the accused stabbed Salman and one of his friends, resulting in Salman’s death and injuries to one of his friends. A case of murder has been registered against three unidentified accused and their accomplices. Multiple teams have been formed and arrests will be made soon after identification.”

DSP Chowdhary further said that Salman was initially taken to a private hospital in Tejaji Nagar. As his condition worsened, his companions falsely informed hospital staff that it was an accident. However, due to severe blood loss, he was referred to MY Hospital, where doctors declared him dead. The police were then informed and began an investigation at the crime scene.

Had come from Kannod for work

Salman originally hailed from Kannod. His father is a farmer. He lived in a rented house near his maternal uncle’s home in Nayta Mundla with his mother and three brothers. He had come to Indore with his family for work and was employed as a labourer. He was the second of three brothers.

Brutal stabbing gouged out intestines

Salman’s uncle Fizauddin said, “Salman, along with his two friends — Chhota Salman and Vishnu — had gone to Ujjaini for a bath in the river at around 1 pm on Sunday after finishing work. The attackers, at least eight to 10 people on four two-wheelers, assaulted Salman. The stabbing was so vicious that it gouged out his intestines. When Salman tried to escape, they chased and stabbed him again. Although people witnessed the incident, no one intervened to help.”
