We are talking about Rajasthan's Sawai Madhopur railway station, which succumbed to the rain in such a way that water was visible everywhere from platform number 1 to the last. Passengers waiting for the train were forced to think whether the next train would be "Steamer Express" or "Boat Superfast"? In the video going viral on social media, it is clearly visible that the railway station has been completely submerged. No floor is visible, only layers of water, waves and the station lights shimmering in it. Some passengers were seen searching for slippers in the water, while some made a video and captioned it "India's Venice has arrived!"

Sawai Madhopur railway station submerged

The video is said to be of Sawai Madhopur Junction located on the Delhi Mumbai railway track, which is completely submerged. It is seen in the video that the platform is completely submerged and instead of trains, waves of water are running on the tracks. The reality of arrangements at this completely submerged station has been exposed. Despite paying huge fines to passengers traveling without tickets and earning huge money through other means, this is the condition of Indian Railways. It has now become a crossroads of criticism on social media which people are surrounding from all sides.

There has been heavy rain in the last 24 hours

In fact, the continuous heavy rain in Sawai Madhopur district for the last 24 hours has flooded many areas of the city. But this kind of waterlogging at an important place like the railway station not only caused trouble for the passengers, but also exposed the arrangements of the railway administration. According to the local people, the drainage system of the station premises has been in a bad condition for a long time and this is the condition every time it rains. This time the water filled up so much that many trains got delayed, some were stopped by changing platforms and the passengers had to face a lot of trouble.

The video has been shared from an account named @AnathNagrik which has been seen by many people so far, while the railways have also taken cognizance of the video and given clarification. Regarding the video, the Indian Railway Service informed the Kota DRM by tagging it in it. After which the Kota DRM has given clarification regarding the matter. Apart from this, users are also looking quite angry. One user wrote... Where is the railway investing the huge amount of money, we want an answer. While another user wrote... Now how much fine should the passengers take from the railways for this inconvenience?
