PM Sharif Praised Donald Trump: Addressing world leaders in Sharm el-Sheikh on Monday, Sharif reiterated that Trump played an important role in preventing the India-Pakistan conflict.

At the Gaza summit in Egypt, Pakistani Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif virtually turned the stage into a eulogy for Donald Trump. He called Trump a "man of peace" and said he saved millions of lives by preventing the India-Pakistan war. Sharif also said he would nominate Trump again for the Nobel Peace Prize. To this, Trump smiled and replied, "Wow! I didn't expect that."

Columnist S.L. Kanthan also took a jab, writing, "Whenever Trump needs his shoes shined, he calls on Pakistan's 'little prime minister.' Never before has geopolitics seen such a shameful spectacle."

Addressing world leaders in Sharm el-Sheikh on Monday, Sharif reiterated that Trump played a key role in preventing the India-Pakistan conflict. During his five-minute speech, he repeatedly praised Trump's efforts to broker an Israel-Hamas ceasefire. Sharif said, "Today is one of the greatest days in modern history because peace has been achieved under President Trump's leadership. He is truly a man of peace." He further said that if Trump had not been there, the war between India and Pakistan would have escalated to such an extent that no one would have survived.
Sharif said Pakistan has nominated Trump for the Nobel Prize
Peace Prize in recognition of his "outstanding contribution to promoting peace." "This is our smallest step to honor him. He is truly a true ambassador of peace," he said.
