Jade Goody's widower Jack Tweed takes bitter swipe at Jeff Brazier over son Freddy

Jady Goody's widower, Jack Tweed, said he's 'the only one who makesFreddy Brazierfeel close to his mum' as he took a swipe at Freddy's dad, Jeff Brazier. Jade, who was married to Jack at the time of her death from cervical cancer, shares Freddy and Bobby with Jeff, who looked after the two children.

Freddy made headlines after revealing he was sectioned due to his struggles with addiction and mental health. And recently, Jade's mother, Jackiey Budden, hit back at claims she supplied her grandson with cannabis. Not long after, it was reported that the 20-year-old is due to become a father with an ex-girlfriend.

It's said Jeff is supporting his son through the entire journey. In a new interview, Jade's widower, Jack, said fatherhood 'might do him the world of good' as he revealed he's 'pleased for him'.

Jack's relationship with Bobby and Freddy used to be strained. A month after Big Brother star Jade died, Jack was sentenced to 12 weeks in prison for assault and was banned from seeing the boys by Jeff.

Years later, he's formed a relationship with Freddy, who 'trusts him' and 'opens up to him'.

Speaking to MailOnline, he said: "Now he doesn't speak to [his grandmother] Jackiey, I'm probably the only one who makes him feel close to his mum."

Jack said their bond is still at the 'early stages' but the two are 'concentrating on him being on the right path'.

He said that after Jade's death, he was portrayed as a 'scumbag' while Jeff was shown as a 'godsend and a perfect dad'.

"I don't want to slag Jeff off, I want nothing to do with it, but I think he put a lot of pressure on Freddy and Bobby," Jack said. "He's all about his 'super dad' image, and I think he cares a lot about that."

Meanwhile, Freddy recently admitted he's still processing his mother's death in an interview with Loaded Magazine. He explained: "I'm still processing it now, to be honest. I only really started processing it in my late teens because when she passed, I was obviously too young."

Freddy also admitted that he used to avoid conversations about his mum. The star, who participated in BBC's Celebrity Race Across the World with his dad Jeff in 2024, added: "I feel that as much as she was spoken about in every household I was in, I never used to think about it.

"I'd always just shut down if someone was like, 'Oh, your mum was lovely,' or 'I watched your mum,' or whatever. I'd just be like, 'Oh yeah, nice, alright,' and then I'd just walk off," he added.

"I feel like I've only just started to really deal with it, more so recently after [Celebrity] Race Across the World, actually, where I learned to give my feelings and thoughts their own time."
