Writing in , he detailed what happened and said it was an experience he won't forget: He wrote: “I was on my own, and I don’t mind admitting I was nervous. I rushed over to it, scraping the gunk from its face before putting a bit of straw up its nose to make it sneeze and start breathing.

“And it did," he went on. "And I simply cannot tell you how that feels. I was exhausted, my arms felt as though they were on fire, I was covered in slimy cow juice and faeces and I was smiling a smile that I simply didn’t think would be possible in any kind of workplace. I don’t know what would have happened had I not been there but now there is the most adorable little calf you’ve ever seen."
Jeremy could have done without the dramatic day. Back in October, and had a stent fitted. The Clarkson's Farm star described how he felt "clammy", with a "tightness in my chest", and "pins and needles in my left arm" and rushed himself to the doctor, before later being taken to the John Radcliffe Hospital in Oxford in an ambulance.
Once there, they ruled out the possibility of a heart attack after undergoing an electrocardiogram (ECG), blood tests and X-rays. However, he was taken to theatre and doctors told him he was "days away" from becoming very ill.
"It seems that of the arteries feeding my heart with nourishing blood, one was completely blocked and the second of three was heading that way ... It wasn't especially painful. Just odd," he recalled.
Earlier this year, Jeremy issued an update on his health, revealing he was feeling "very well". "My phone flashed up this morning saying: 'you are taking far fewer steps this week than last'. I thought 'yeah I would be as I am sitting here'. It also says you are eating far fewer sausages. I just sit here and eat celery. I am feeling better on it. I do feel very well," he said whilst filming for his hit show Who Wants To Be A Millionaire?
"I have been to see a dietician. The dietician has given me a pretty good list and said: 'don't eat processed food'. If it's got more than one ingredient in it, don't eat it. I feel great." However, Jeremy is trying to slow down but he admits it is "impossible" to say no. He added: "It's impossible. In the last break, I was writing things on the farm show, then I've got an issue with the brewery to be resolved.
