Ahmed al-Doush, a senior business analyst with Bank of America, is understood to have been put in following his arrest by Saudi authorities on August 31, 2024, while on a family holiday to the country. He was stopped by security while preparing to fly home to the UK from King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh. He has now been jailed for 10 years after a state-appointed lawyer told his wife Amaher Nour, that he had been convicted of an offence at a hearing on Monday but that he could not tell her what it was.

Peter Sullivan has murder conviction quashed in longest miscarriage of justice
A man nicknamed the "wolfman" who has spent 38 years in for has had his conviction quashed. Peter Sullivan, who was 30 when he was sentenced and is now 68, is believed to be the UK’s longest-serving victim of a miscarriage of justice after three senior judges quashed his conviction 17 years after his first attempt to have it overturned.
Diane Sindall, a 21-year-old barmaid, was found dead in Bebington, Merseyside, in August 1986, with Mr Sullivan arrested the following month. Detectives investigating the case nicknamed Sullivan "wolfman" due to bite marks found on the victim's body. He was convicted in November 1987 and has remained behind bars since his sentencing despite being given a minimum term of 16 years.

Finally, star Liz McClarnon has announced her in a sweet post shared on social media. The star recorded a video of herself sitting on a bench in a gorgeous garden as she announced the exciting news to fans.
Liz, who married her , said in the caption: "I started to record a video of me just telling you but I got too emotional so I thought I’d just hide behind this little announcement instead. I just can’t believe we’re here. So many have been through exactly what I went through and worse. I want to share what I can and add my voice and ears to those who already help others understand or deal with all that comes with ivf and loss after so much hope."
