This Monday we're featuring everything from threats of thunderstorms across the UK, to Prince Harry being told he 'should have' reached out to one particular member of his family.

Elsewhere, our World News team have shared reports of a plane crash hitting a school and killing 16 people, while our UK News team broke the story that a body has been found in connection to the search for missing mum Rachel Booth.

Plane crashes into Bangladesh school leaving at least 16 dead as campus engulfed in flames

At least 16 people have died after an military training aircraft crashed into a school campus in Bangladesh.

The Bangladesh Air Force F-7 BGI aircraft plunged into Milestone School and College in northern Dhaka. So far, the pilot has been identified as being among the dead. It has been reported that most of the people who have been injured are students suffering from burns.

Officials confirmed that students were in the middle of taking exams and regular classes when the tragedy took place on Monday. Horrifying images showed a huge fire erupt from the crashed plane.

Water bill warning as major report to shake-up 'broken' industry released image

Water bills are set to soar by up to 30% over the next five years, the author of a major report to shake-up the broken industry has said.

Former Bank of England chief, Sir Jon Cunliffe, said there had been a "huge rise" in customers' bills over the past year . Water UK has already warned the national average water bills for the coming year (2025-26) are forecast to rise by £123 - or 26%. This is around £10-per-month.

Sir Jon told BBC Breakfast: "Bills are going to rise by over 30% in real-terms over the next five years. There are some inescapable facts here. The cost of producing water and dealing with our wastewater is going up.

Prince Harry warned he should reach out to key royal to help solve bitter rift image

Prince Harry should have reached out to a key family member more in a bid to heal his bitter royal rift, an insider has warned.

The Duke of Sussex revealed earlier this year he is no longer on speaking terms with his father, the King, while his relationship with older brother Prince William is also said to be almost non-existent.

However, there has been renewed speculation that reconciliation between Harry and his father could be on the cards after a meeting of their top aides earlier this month.

Weather warnings: Every part of UK facing thunderstorms as half month's rain due image

The UK will be hit with half a month's worth of rain over just a few hours, the Met Office has warned, as the weekend's devastating deluge pours into the new week.

Most of the country has been draped in three major weather warnings issued by the country's main weather agency this morning, as thunderstorms are set to crash over several hundred miles of land. Residents of England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland have been hit by severe rain over the last two days, and the Met Office warns they now face two days more, with rainfall in some places reaching a massive, "impactful" half a month's worth.

Met Office forecaster Simon Partridge warned that Northern Ireland would see the most significant rainfall, with several inches falling over 12 to 18 hours.

Rachel Booth: Body found amid search for missing mum last seen three days ago image

A body has been found in the search for missing Rachel Booth, police have announced.

The tragic discovery comes after a days-long search operation in which Cheshire Police deployed underwater divers and sniffer dogs in a desperate bid to track down the 38-year-old mum-of-three.

Following extensive appeals and searches in the area, officers have now sadly recovered a body in a lake in Oakmere.

Whilst formal identification is yet to take place, it is believed to be that of Rachel. Her family have been made aware and are being supported by specialist officers. They have requested privacy at this time.
