Olivia Attwood defends CBB's Ella Rae Wise amid tension with ex Chris Hughes

ex has come to the defence of his Celebrity housemate Ella Rae Wise amid romance rumours. The star, 31, had fans convinced he'd find a spark with TOWIE's Ella at the start of the series.

His Love Island ex Olivia also was certain the pair would walk out a new couple, yet it is looking very unlikely. Chris has instead found a very close connection to JoJo Siwa, 21, which has baffled some viewers.

Speaking on last night, Chris admitted he would be "crushed" if JoJo ever left amid Their bond seemed to have rocked Chris' connection with Ella, who insisted she "doesn't fancy him".

TOWIE star Ella appeared upset at Chris distancing himself from her and claimed he is playing up to the cameras. Some fans thought Ella was just jealous of their friendship and that this was why she was calling the pair out.

However, she has now received the backing of Chris' ex Olivia, She told her followers: "My prediction for Ella and Chris to get together was wrong but I feel like it was an obvious prediction to make.

"But actually this makes way more sense..." She continued with her theory: "I don't think Ella is jealous. I know that's going to cause a divide, but I don't. I think she sees something. JoJo is very young and very famous."

Olivia cheekily ended her message: "I am saying a lot but I am saying nothing." Olivia previously dated Chris when they met on back in 2017, and went on to reach fourth place.

However, they Olivia was sure Chris and Ella would spark a romance as she gave her own verdict.

Speaking on her So Wrong It's Right podcast, she revealed she had watched the first episode and was keen to see what he ex would get up to.

She recorded the episode just after the show's launch and revealed: "Look, lets be real, the last show I saw him on - and this is no shade - was our show. He’s probably had to see me on loads of different things.

"I am curious obviously. I’m curious if he’s grown up, if he’s changed. If we see, again no shade, the real him. I don’t think on Love Island you necessarily saw all the flashes of his personality."

Olivia insisted there would be a romance between Chris and Ella as she added: "I am going to call it right now, him and Ella will get together. 100%. I like Ella and I know her from TOWIE but I think they are the only two young single ones.

"It is obvious it’s going to happen." Despite being happily married to footballer Bradley Dack, Olivia wants to keep tabs on Chris to see what he gets up to during the series.
