fans were left in shock at the end of tonight's episode as it was revealed who set fire to's stall. On Monday night, the residents gathered to say a final goodbye to Martin at his funeral. After an emotional day, thinks got even worse when his stall was up in flames by the end of the night.
In tonight's episode, viewers watched as Stacey Slater () accused Ruby Allen () of committing the horrendous act. However, at the end of the episode it was revealed it was in fact Stacey's daughter, Lily.
After an altercation in the Square which ended in Ruby slapping Stacey across the face - Ruby headed over to Stacey's to apologise. As Lily stood in the kitchen accusing Ruby, Stacey received a picture of Martin's stall from Jack Branning ().

He revealed that an accelerant was used to fuel the flame, with the bottle containing it in the pictures. As Stacey saw the evidence, she realised it was Lily's bottle. "It was you wasn't it?" she asked her daughter.
After the reveal, fans took to X, formerly known as to discuss, with many 'working out' how Stacey would leave the square following her maternity leave. "Would Lily really set fire to her dead dad’s stall? I’m not buying it, just seems like a reason to write Lacey out for maternity ," wrote one.
Another said: "I’m so happy that I was right but I’m annoyed that this is how it will ruin Stacey and lily’s relationship because the writers decided that it should be lily that sets Martin’s stall on fire just so Stacey can have a exit for mat leave ."
A third wrote: "Oh Ruby is DEFINITELY gonna tell the police about Lily. Looks like little Charli xcx is gonna have a mum in prison, it's a Slater birth right," said a second.
As well as Stacey leaving for maternity leave, Louisa Lytton has also revealed she'll be leaving the soap . The star, who returned for an extended stint for the show's 40th anniversary told : "I left a couple of weeks ago. I was only back for six months, to tie in with the 40th and Martin’s exit.
"It’s always good to come and go and I never see it as a big thing when I leave because I can be back again!"
