Everyone likes to treat themselves to something now and again, and a fancy coffee is a little way to do that on a weekend or if you're having a bad day and need to cheer yourself up. However, many Starbucks customers have been left fuming at the cost of the chain's new Birthday Frappuccino, with some people even saying it "isn't worth the price". Others have also claimed that the drink costs a different amount at each store, leading to confusion.
The beverage, which has created to celebrate 30 years since the first Frappuccino, features vanilla and hazelnut flavour syrup combined with milk and creme Frappuccino and is topped with whipped cream and colourful birthday cake sprinkles.
It was recently shared over on popular food and drink account NewFoodsUK on its Facebook page as they managed to get their hands on one.

They shared a picture of the colourful-looking drink, writing: "Brand new Birthday Frappuccino from Starbucks UK! Comes with a free celebratory cup!!"
However, despite 1,700 people giving the post a like, some moaned about the cost.
One person fumed: "I had the drink this morning and it cost me £7.35. I wanted to try it and it was nice but not worth that price, free cup is cool mind."
Another added: "£7.35! Taking the p*ss."
Others also weren't that impressed by the free cup offers, as one person exclaimed: "A free cup! And there was me wanting to drink it off the floor!"
While another added: "Not really a ‘free’ cup with a £7 drink in it."
Others disagreed on the price, as one person said: "Wow, mine was £6.80... why so many different prices?"
Another added: "Not worth £6, the drink was horrible I only wanted the cup lol."
A third added: "£8.95 in my Starbucks."
Despite some negativity, others raced to their local branch to try it as one person said: "I know where I'm going on my lunch break ."
While another person who'd tried one said it was "so good".
Another Starbucks fan shared a hack about how to get it free, as they said: "I got mine today and used my points for the drink so was completely free, thank you."
