An investigation has been launched after a new bride died having slipped into a coma hours after tying the knot.
Adna Rov anin-Omerbegovic was rushed to hospital on her wedding night on Saturday after she married partner Faris. The 26-year-old influencer suddenly became unwell after the wedding reception and needed urgent medial care before the situation worsened when she arrived.
She tragically died on Monday, leaving her new husband and friends heartbroken. As well as creating content online, Adna worked in cosmetics and ran her own beauty salon in Sarajevo, the capital city of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Story, a weekly lifestyle magazine in Croatia, stated that the suspected cause of her death was a concussion. The publication displayed photos of the pair's wedding day, which was supposed to be the best day their lives. It turned into tragedy when Adna an ambulance was called to their reception.
Friends and followers have paid tribute to the young star, describing her as hard-working and always cheerful. One follower said: "Yesterday you were among us, today we send you off. Rest in peace, dear Adna."

"It is not fair that the lives of young people should end prematurely like this," added another. A third said: "You will forever remain in our hearts."
The official cause of Adna's death remains unclear and the investigation into her death is ongoing. Authorities are awaiting the results of an autopsy to establish what caused her sudden illness.

The couple had married at the Hollywood Hotel in the city. Adna's funeral was held on Wednesday at the Bare Cemetery in Sarajevo, with prayers recited at the Mosque of Kobilja Glava in the capital city, as reported by NeedToKnow.
