On Friday morning, a phone call shook the hearts of people in Ghatkopar. Murali Naik, a soldier from Ghatkopar Kamaraj Nagar posted in Jammu and Kashmir, was martyred in the Indo-Pak war. As soon as the news spread, there was silence all around. While the people of the locality were angry with Pakistan, they also felt proud of the martyrdom of this young man.
Shahid's body will be brought from Andhra Pradesh
According to the information, Murali Naik posted in Jammu and Kashmir was martyred in the firing by Pakistan. The soldier's father Shri Ram Naik told Navbharat in a conversation that Murali was shot at 3:30 on Thursday night and he was martyred. According to the father, when the call came from the army, the daughter-in-law picked up the phone. She fainted on hearing the news. Then I spoke to the officer, he informed about the incident and told that by 3:00 pm on Saturday, the body of the martyr will be brought from his native place Satya Sai district Andhra Pradesh.
He himself had asked for posting in Jammu and Kashmir
Let us tell you that the Naik family has lived in Kamaraj Nagar in Ghatkopar for decades. Currently, under the SRA scheme, he has vacated his house and moved to his native place in Andhra Pradesh. Murali Naik joined the Army in 2022. After training in Nashik, he was posted in Assam. After that he himself demanded posting in Jammu and Kashmir. After this he got posting in Jammu and Kashmir. Murali was martyred in the firing by Pakistan at 3 pm on Friday night.
