Harmanpreet Kaur started raining heavilyThe incident occurred in the 35th over of the match when Australian bowler Megan Schutt bowled a slower delivery. Harmanpreet mistimed the delivery and it went towards cover. Harmanpreet ran for a single, but Harleen sent her back from mid-on. Harmanpreet had a narrow escape, diving towards Alyssa Healy's throw to save herself from being run out.
Started scolding on the pitch itselfAs soon as she reached the crease safely, Harmanpreet began scolding Harleen. Harleen, acknowledging her mistake, lowered her eyes and avoided eye contact. Harmanpreet then hit a four off the very next ball. Yet, she reprimanded Harleen for her mistake on the previous ball. Harmanpreet also hit a four off the last ball of the over and then calmed the situation by patting Harleen on the shoulder.
Got out after scoring 22 runsHowever, Harmanpreet's batting didn't last long, falling to Megan Schutt for 22. Harleen Deol also departed shortly thereafter. Earlier, a brilliant 155-run partnership between Smriti Mandhana and Pratima Rawat had given India a solid start. Mandhana scored 80, while Pratima Rawat contributed 75.
