As the political temperature in Bihar continues to rise, Prime Minister Narendra Modi held a powerful election rally in Saharsa, where he launched a sharp attack on the Grand Alliance (RJD–Congress). PM Modi accused the opposition of pushing Bihar into darkness during their rule and said that the NDA stands for progress, while the RJD and Congress represent destruction.
“Defeat the Jungle Raj People Once and for All”Addressing a large crowd, PM Modi urged voters to cast their first vote for a government committed to Bihar’s development.
He said, “These are the same people who gave Bihar Jungle Raj. They must be defeated so badly that they never dare to think ill of this state again. Whether it’s RJD or Congress, they have nothing to do with development. The NDA works for progress, while they work for ruin.”
PM Modi accused the opposition of prioritizing infiltrators over the people of Bihar.
He said, “Be it Congress or RJD, their politics revolves around infiltrators. They go on foreign tours to protect them. But tell me — will Bihar’s future be decided by its people or by infiltrators?”
The Prime Minister recalled how the RJD-led politics of revenge held back Bihar’s development.
He said, “The foundation stone for the Kosi Rail Bridge was laid by Atal Bihari Vajpayee in 2003. But when the Congress government came to power in Delhi in 2004, supported by the RJD, and Nitish Kumar became Chief Minister in 2005, the RJD was wiped out from Bihar. In retaliation, they stopped every project meant for the welfare of the people.”
PM Modi accused Lalu Prasad Yadav’s RJD of using its influence in the Manmohan Singh–Sonia Gandhi government to obstruct central schemes for Bihar’s progress.
“The Grand Alliance Wants to Stop Your Welfare Schemes”PM Modi urged the women of Bihar to remain vigilant against the Grand Alliance, warning that their victory would mean a rollback of welfare programs.
He said, “The NDA has announced new schemes that will continue after forming the government. But the Jungle Raj leaders want to snatch these benefits from you. I appeal to every sister and daughter of Bihar to stay alert.”
Amid his political remarks, the Prime Minister also celebrated India’s Women’s Cricket Team, which recently won the Women’s World Cup 2025 in Mumbai.
He said, “Our daughters have created history by bringing the World Cup home after 25 years. They are daughters of farmers, laborers, and middle-class families — they’ve made the nation proud.”
PM Modi added that this victory symbolizes the growing confidence of India’s daughters, who are excelling in every field.
PM Modi Seeks Votes Across Key Bihar ConstituenciesDuring the Saharsa rally, the Prime Minister sought support for NDA candidates from several assembly constituencies, including:
-
Amoura, Baisi, Kasba, Banmankhi, Manihari, Barari, Kodha, Katihar, Kadwa, Balrampur, Pranpur, Bahadurganj, Thakurganj, Kishanganj, Kochadhaman, Rupauli, Dhamdaha, and Purnia.
He urged people to vote for the NDA to ensure a stable and development-oriented government in Bihar.
