As Bihar gears up for the upcoming assembly elections, political tensions are escalating. Amid the ongoing Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of the electoral roll, opposition leaders have intensified their criticism of the Election Commission, accusing it of deliberately removing names from the voter list to benefit the BJP.
Adding fuel to the fire, RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav made a startling claim on Saturday, stating that his own name has been deleted from the voter list. “How will I contest the elections now?” he asked while speaking to reporters.
Tejashwi further alleged that he had duly filled the required forms during the SIR process, yet his name was still removed. His comments have sparked fresh political controversy, with the opposition now demanding answers from the Election Commission regarding the transparency of the revision process.
