Punjab Kings spinner Yuzvendra Chahal, who was instrumental in taking the team to the IPL 2025 final after 11 years, is currently enjoying some light-hearted moments with former India opener Shikhar Dhawan. A video featuring the duo has gone viral on social media, where Chahal playfully calls Dhawan his ‘nephew.’
In the video, both players are dressed in royal attire and enact famous dialogues from the Mahabharata, with Chahal assuming the role of the cunning ‘Sakuni Mama.’ Their fun banter has entertained fans, earning millions of likes and amusing comments, with many urging them to try their hand at acting.
Chahal had a standout IPL season, playing 14 matches and taking 16 wickets at an average of 26.87, including a memorable hat-trick. Despite Punjab Kings narrowly losing the final to Royal Challengers Bangalore by 6 runs, Chahal’s performance was impressive. Currently out of Team India, he is keen to make a comeback.
On the other hand, Shikhar Dhawan retired from international cricket after IPL 2024 and has since been exploring opportunities in Bollywood, featuring in shows and music videos.
