Cameron Norrie is the final home hope at Wimbledon this year and he faces an almighty task to still be in the tournament by the end of the day. The British No.3 has the daunting challenge of taking on defending champion Carlos Alcaraz on Centre Court this afternoon for a place in the semi-finals.
This is the pair's first ever meeting on grass with Norrie looking to replicate his 2022 feat of making the final four at SW19. Alcaraz has won this Grand Slam in both of the last two years and is looking to advance closer to a third successive triumph at the Championships.
Norrie, who has been criticised for his on-court behaviour, has two wins against Alcaraz previously but they have not played one another for two years, with the Spaniard since becoming a five-time major champion. He is on a 22-match winning streak and is 18 unbeaten at Wimbledon, with just three victories separating him from another Channel Slam, meaning a Norrie victory would be a huge upset.
