ITV Coronation Street fans 'figure out' Nina and Summer secret as character is 'missing'

Coronation Street fans think they have figured out the devastating secret Nina Lucas (played by Mollie Gallagher) and Summer Spellman (Harriet Bibby) are hiding on the ITV soap. Viewers didn't see what happened to the pair in the episode aired on Monday June 23, but it was clearly upsetting for them. The episode concluded on a dramatic note as they returned to the cafe, visibly shaken and in tears, clearly having just endured a highly distressing experience. They both agreed they couldn't return to the scene of whatever had occurred off-screen. A distraught Nina wailed: "We 100% cannot go back." Summer comforted her as she continued to bawl.

Fans took to social media to speculate what had affected the young women so badly with many believing it involved Amy Barlow. "I think something happened with Amy because she's not mentioned in spoilers for the rest of the week! Poor Amy!" one exclaimed. Another person concurred: "Oh yeah! Maybe they left her for dead?" This sentiment was echoed by another viewer who added: "I thought this as well." Meanwhile, a third chimed in: "Definitely more to come! But it could be to do with Amy."
