
Police are conducting searches near a beloved Cheshire beauty spot this evening following a woman's disappearance.
Rachel Booth, 38, from Northwich, was reported missing earlier today. Authorities say they are growing 'increasingly concerned for her welfare. '.
She was last spotted in the Barnton area of Northwich, reports the Manchester Evening News.
CCTV footage subsequently showed her at the Sandiway Garage on the A556 at approximately 3.50am.
Police have confirmed they are this evening 'conducting enquiries' in Oakmere and the 'surrounding area,' and have thanks businesses for their cooperation during the search.
"We would like to thank local businesses for their patience and understanding while these are ongoing," the force said.

A popular watersports centre in Oakmere revealed that they had been asked to temporarily close in order to aid their investigation.
Wild Shore Delamere, a water-based adventure hub, said: "Due to ongoing police investigations in the surrounding area, Wildshore Delamere will remain closed tomorrow, Sunday, July 20th. We sincerely apologise for any inconvenience this may cause. "
"The incident is unrelated to Wild Shore - however, we wish to help as much as possible - so we will be closing the site until further notice. Rachel is described as being 5' 9" tall, of a slim build, with blonde hair. She is believed to be wearing black leggings and a black top.
Earlier, Cheshire Police Inspector James Wilson said: "We are currently conducting a number of enquiries to trace Rachel and we are becoming increasingly concerned for her welfare.
"Anyone who has seen Rachel since she was reported missing is asked to contact us. The same goes for anyone who has any information on her whereabouts.
"We would also like to appeal directly to Rachel to get in touch to let us know you are OK.
