Valtteri Bottas has banked millions over the course of an F1 career which has taken him from Williams to Mercedes, from Alfa Romeo to Sauber and then back to Mercedes again. And the 10-time Grand Prix winner is making sure he enjoys the fruits of his labour.
Because Bottas is now the proud owner of one of the most exclusive supercars on the planet, having taken delivery of his multi-million-pound Alfa Romeo 33 Stradale. As the name suggests, only 33 of the cars have ever been built, and each one of them is unique as the lucky owners have had the opportunity to customise it with the prestigious Italian manufacturer.
Bottas stopped competing in F1 for Alfa Romeo in 2023, even though he stayed with the team for an extra year when it was rebranded as Kick Sauber. The 35-year-old is spending this season as a test and reserve driver at Mercedes.
Despite his return to the Silver Arrows, it's clear that Bottas has not completely cut ties with his former employers, as he was one of the lucky few to gain entry into the highly exclusive '33 Club'.
The 33 Stradale is valued at around £2.6million but its rarity could make it near enough priceless, with mega-rich entrepreneurs Noriaki Uchino and Glynn Bloomqvist among the other candidates given the nod by Alfa.

Petrol heads may go their entire lives without seeing a 33 Stradale out in the wild. But there were a few in the streets of Monaco who will have witnessed Bottas taking his new wheels out for a spin this week as he paraded it around town.
Bottas is a keen car collector and this is not the first Alfa Romeo in his garage. The Finn's Giulia GTAm will be joined by the 33 Stradale, and Alfa marked the delivery with a series of pictures posted to the company's official Instagram account.
The caption read: "A dream, delivered. We had the honor of handing over the keys of the #AlfaRomeo #33Stradale to Valtteri Bottas. A unique piece, personally customized by him - the result of a journey we proudly completed together. Let's keep dreaming, Valtteri."
Bottas will turn 36 next month but he continues to be linked with a return to a full-time F1 seat. He is believed to have been lined up by Cadillac ahead of their arrival on the grid in 2026.
