Bengaluru: The Silicon Valley of India woke up to a chilly, foggy morning on Saturday, giving the city a refreshing hill station atmosphere. The maximum temperature is expected to reach 28 degrees Celsius, with forecasts predicting a minimum of 20 degrees Celsius today. Last night, thunderstorms swept through several areas of the city, accompanied by strong winds and heavy rainfall. Taking to X (formerly Twitter), @Bnglrweatherman, a popular weather enthusiast, posted visuals of fog engulfing the city and wrote, ''Chilled foggy morning in #Bengaluru. Hill station feels,'' on X.

Bengaluru is likely to witness a generally cloudy sky over the next few days with a chance of rain and thunderstorms. On October 19, temperatures will range from 20 degrees Celsius to 28 degrees Celsius. The same weather is expected on October 20 and 21, with a few spells of rain or thunderstorms possible. On October 22, there will be light rain, while October 23 and 24 are likely to see more steady rainfall. Overall, residents should prepare for wet weather throughout the week.In another news, heavy rainfall lashed the city on Tuesday, causing severe waterlogging and traffic disruptions across Bengaluru. In one of such incidents, a video surfaced on social media showing Bengaluru's popular Manyata Tech Park being heavily flooded. Additionally, the incessant showers converted a construction site near Manyata Tech Park into a waterfall. In another video, a portion of the same construction site was seen collapsing, leading to panic in the area. Several such visuals have emerged on social media, showing the city taking a hit of heavy rainfall. Kendriya Vihar in Yelahanka also faced severe flooding, with water entering the apartment complex's basement and entrance. Several major roads in North Bengaluru, including nearby areas of Kogilu, Begalur, and Ballari Road, were submerged.
