Jamshedpur: Debasnan Purnima was observed with pomp and gaiety across Kolhan division on Wednesday as devotees thronged to the temples to take part in the Maha Snan rituals of Lord Jagannath and his siblings.
At Dhalbhum Club in Jamshedpur's Sakchi, Snanotsav rituals organised by ISKON witnessed a large gathering of devotees.
Water, brought from Ganga, Yamuna, Subernarekha, and Kharkai rivers and from Bay of Bengal in Puri was was infused with medicinal herbs, honey, milk and sandalwood to make it holy., organisers said. TNN
