UPPSC CES Prelims Result 2025: The Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC) has officially announced the results of the Combined State Engineering Services (Preliminary) Examination 2024, conducted on April 20, 2025. This exam, as part of Advertisement No. A-9/E-1/2024 dated December 17, 2024, saw significant participation with 78,798 candidates applying and 31,639 appearing for the test.
7,358 Candidates Clear Preliminary Round for 609 Vacancies
Based on the performance in the preliminary examination, a total of 7,358 candidates have been shortlisted to appear in the main examination. These selections have been made against 609 advertised vacancies under General and Special Recruitment categories.
Main Exam Schedule to Be Announced Separately
A separate notification regarding the schedule and application process for the main examination will be issued shortly by the Commission. All qualified candidates are advised to regularly check the Commission’s official website http://uppsc.up.nic.in for updates.

Final Selection Details After Court Verdict
Candidates should note that details such as individual marks and cutoff scores will be released only after the final selection results are declared. These results will be subject to the judgment of the Hon’ble High Court in Special Appeal (D) No. 475 of 2019 filed by the Uttar Pradesh State Government.
Additionally, the results for female candidates from outside Uttar Pradesh are also contingent upon the outcome of the same appeal.
RTI Requests Not Entertained Until Final Results
The Commission has clarified that applications under the Right to Information Act, 2005 concerning individual marks or cutoffs will not be accepted prior to the final result declaration.
