'Housefull 5' is set to release in theatres on June 6. The film boasts of an impressive ensemble and has largely been shot on a cruise. But as per a recent report, it's also India's most expensive comedy film. 'Housefull 5' stars Akshay Kumar, Abhishek Bachchan, Riteish Deshmukh, Fardeen Khan, Sanjay Dutt, Jackie Shroff, Nana Patekar, Chitrangada Singh, Sonam Bajwa, Jacqueline Fernandez among others. The movie has comedy with an element of thrill this time around as the search for who's the killer drives the movie.

Infact, the movie is set to have two climaxes which will be played different in different theatres across the country, as revealed by producer Sajid Nadiadwala. Now as per a latest report in Pinkvilla, 'Housefull 5' has been mounted on a huge budget of Rs 225 crore. A source was quoted by the portal saying, "From a star-cast of 19 acclaimed actors to the logistical challenges of shooting at real locations with a massive ensemble – Housefull 5 was among the most difficult film to set up for Sajid Nadiadwala. He has made a lavish ‘Killer Comedy’ for the audience, without compromising on the costs."

The source further added, "While Sooryavanshi was made on a budget of Rs 250 crore, Bade Miyan Chote Miyan had a production cost of above Rs 350 crore. Housefull 5 is certainly the second most expensive of his career."

Clearly then, one expects the movie to also make those numbers in order to be a hit. The advance bookings have begun and it has already collected Rs 3.88 in the advance bookings. But largely, the numbers will depend on positive word of mouth and spot bookings.
