Internet goes crazy with new AI video trend, 'If Snapchat existed back then'

Send Push
In the era of digitalisation and AI, people have left no stone unturned to enjoy the perks. From creating thousands of Ghibli portraits on ChatGPT's new image filter to creating a one-minute Tom & Jerry episode on TTT-MLP, a new AI tool developed by Stanford and NVIDIA, there is nothing AI is not imagining and creating.

However, what has been really interesting and rather ironic to see is the fact that the more AI expands, the more netizens want to see the past through its lens. While the creators may be working with a futuristic approach, the same can not be said for the users who can't help but see how the world before them would have lived and looked with technology.

Now, a new trend called ' If Snapchat existed back then ' has been trending on social media where people have been making AI videos of how people of the past such as Albert Einstein and Cleopatra would have used Snapchat had it existed back then.

What is Snapchat? image
Snapchat is a social media app created in 2011, which allows the users to share snaps or short videos and photos of their days throughout. In the era of digitalised connections, Snapchat helps people stay connected by sharing small snaps of their day with each other, be it a snap of them travelling, eating, studying or even sleeping.
