Vanessa Bryant shuts down pregnancy rumours via social media: "Me protecting my peace, not pregnant..."

Vanessa Bryant, the American socialite and wife of the late NBA player Kobe Bryant, squashed the pregnancy rumours that surfaced on the internet. The 43-year-old took to social media to dismiss the ongoing speculations and shared a meme of Rihanna.

What did Vanessa Bryant share?In an Instagram story posted by Vanessa Bryant, she shared a meme of Rihanna, where the pop star is bobbing her head out of water by wearing a snorkel mask atop her forehead, carrying a drink and flipping her finger. With a caption, “Me protecting my peace, not pregnant & having fun all summer,” she expressed her feelings on June 1, according to US Weekly.

After shutting down the rumours, Vanessa went on to share a couple of self-improvement posts as well. A couple of hours later, the socialite expressed her mindset and spoke about good intentions.

“The only way to impress me, is by being a good person,” the businesswoman’s post read before adding, “I don’t care what you have, what you wear, where you live, or what you drive. I just have deep respect for people with pure hearts and good intentions.”

Bryant shared one more meme of Rihanna in her third story, where she wrote, “I’m not mean, I’m just not the one.”

The pregnancy rumours
The rumours started to spread online when some fans noticed what seemed like a ‘baby bump.’ While the pictures were not attached, the posts quickly sparked a discussion among Kobe’s fans, leading to Vanessa facing a backlash. There were a few users who defended Bryant, stating that one cannot expect the widow to stay single forever; however, the rumours escalated when the posts started mentioning a 27-year-old NBA player with whom Vanessa must have had a relationship.

With a sudden leap of backlash, Vanessa addressed the rumours on social media.
