Golden State Warriors ’ Jimmy Butler called Stephen Curry ‘Batman’, praising his excellent performance in the play-in against the Houston Rockets . He made the analogy because of the way Curry stepped up and took the team out of a difficult situation, leading to its 121-116 win against the Grizzlies. While appreciating Curry, he said:


“Batman comes out of nowhere. You never see him coming. Then they just fall from the sky, from a building behind the door… and he does some incredible things, man. We all know that, but we’ve got to protect him at all costs.”








He continued praising, saying:



“It’s real. I’m telling you, that’s a Batman if I’ve ever seen one. Always coming to save the day.”



Jimmy Butler also joked about the team’s ‘ageing trio’, Stephen Curry, Draymond Green, and he, who are currently holding the front for the Warriors and are pitching in their efforts to keep the team on the winning side.


Golden State Warriors’ significant wins in 2025 season

The Golden State Warriors have put up a good fight in the 2025 season. They are at Number 7 in the current NBA standings with a 48-38 record. The team won the play-in against the Memphis Grizzlies to book a berth in the playoffs. The play-in game was played on April 15, in which the Warriors scored a 121-116 win against the Grizzlies.








The Warriors defeated the Houston Rockets 1-0 in their first playoff game, 95-85, on April 20. They played the regular season finale against the Phoenix Suns, where a 38-point fourth quarter solidified their status as a postseason contender.



The April 7 game was also special for the Warriors, as their win was the coach Steve Kerr’s 100th playoff win.



How the team performs in the postseason, for which it is considered a strong side, will be interesting to watch.
