As Marvel is gearing up for another Swimsuit Special comic book release, it seems Marvel Rivals is also joining it as well. Yes, you read it right. Marvel Rivals fans will be treated with swimsuit cosmetics for your favorite superheroes in the game.
Marvel Rivals Season 2 : Hellfire Gala was released on April 11. Since then, it has been a flurry of special skins in the game. Be it the free Unlimited Thing skin or the Zombie Doctor Strange skin from Multiverse of Madness, there is no shortage of skins in the game right now. And now the swimsuit cosmetics will join the fun.
Marvel Rivals: Swimsuit skins and how to get them
This announcement comes directly from the legendary comic publisher, Marvel. The company has recently published a blog on its website where it announced the highly anticipated Marvel Swimsuit Special: Friends, Foes, and Rivals #1 on July 9.
In this same blog, Marvel confirmed that this special edition will also include designs for new costumes coming soon to Marvel Rivals. The upcoming edition is going to feature the Marvel superstars taking a break from the hectic lifestyle of saving the world. But there was nothing much about what fans can expect in Marvel Rivals.
There is no confirmation on which in-game characters are getting these summer treatments but the Marvel Rivals Infinity Comic #8 might have already teased us about some of the characters getting their swimsuit cosmetic, like The Thing, Squirrel Girl, Jeff the Land Shark, and The Thing called the Krakoa Resort Skins .
Marvel Swimsuit Special revolves around Wasp planning an official swimsuit special following Roxxon Comics' unofficial one.This is really a front for the actual plot, which is a spread of artwork in the form of a magazine that features Marvel characters wearing swimwear.
Prior to its release, Marvel promised to share additional information about the problem, maybe including hints for the Marvel Rivals skins. We are not sure if these are going to be actual purchasable skins of Marvel Rivals designs, but if anything pops up, you will find that in the Store tab.
