An Instagram meeting started Francisco Lindor and Katia's relationship


Francisco Lindor found love on Instagram. Sharing details about it while talking to a New York Post representative, Angela Barbuti, in April 2022, he said:


“I messaged her on Instagram. Her picture popped up, and I was like, ‘This girl is beautiful!’”


And it didn’t end there. What followed was an interesting phase of connecting, knowing, and liking one another. The New York Mets’ star revisited that phase during the interview and shared:

“We talked for three months and then I met her in Arizona ‘cause I was out there for spring training,” said Lindor.







He further elaborated: “We just hung out and I was like, ‘I think she’s the One.’ At first, I was a little bit like, ‘Ahh, I don’t want to really commit,’ but I knew that she was the One.”


The Instagram romance became a lifelong commitment, and Lindor and Katia married in December 2021 after a year of dating.


Katia balances her life as a mother, wife, and an entrepreneur


Francisco Lindor’s better half, Katia, manages his private life and is his biggest off-the-field supporter. Besides being a mother to three kids and a star shortstop’s wife, she hosts a podcast called ‘The Un-a-Parent.’ The whole family participates in the podcast; their uncut moments color Katia's Instagram account.

Katia leads a busy life, but it does not stop her from exploring her love of music. She plays the violin and used to devote hours to practicing it before embracing motherhood. Katia Reguero’s education and early life


Katia Reguero was born and raised in Puerto Rico. She was homeschooled in her early years. To pursue higher studies, she moved to St. Mary’s University in Texas and completed a degree program in international relations.



She took up music as a minor specialty and trained in violin. Her initial plans were to pursue a career in law, but life changed its course when she met her future husband, Francisco Lindor.








A mother of three, Katia is often seen cheering her husband on from the stands while he makes records at the diamond. She also supports his philanthropic endeavors and participates fully in charitable causes. Lindor also calls her his biggest support and attributes his successful baseball career to Katia’s presence in his life.
