Residents of Jammu experienced loud explosions on Saturday morning, accompanied by city-wide sirens during suspected Pakistani drone incursions. Officials reported artillery and mortar fire in Rajouri, Poonch, and Jammu district's Akhnoor sector.
Substantial explosions disturbed Jammu and Udhampur at approximately 5am, with authorities verifying renewed drone attacks from across the border, causing widespread concern among residents.

Defence officials reported drone sightings at 26 locations on Friday night, spanning from Baramulla in Jammu and Kashmir to Gujarat's Bhuj, along Pakistan's International Border and Line of Control (LoC).
The affected areas include various locations across J&K, Punjab, Rajasthan, and Gujarat, specifically Baramulla, Srinagar, Avantipora, Nagrota, Jammu, Ferozpur, Pathankot, Fazilka, Lalgarh Jatta, Jaisalmer, Barmer, Bhuj, Kuarbet and Lakhi Nala.

Significant cross-border artillery exchanges occurred along the LoC across different Jammu region sectors throughout the night. Officials confirmed artillery strikes on Rajouri, Poonch, Surankote and Nowshera towns.
The situation between both nations intensified after army conducted precise strikes on nine terror launch sites in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir on Wednesday to avenge April 22 Pahalgam terror attack that resulted in 26 casualties, primarily tourists.
