Emerald Airlines, an Irish regional airline headquartered in Dublin, had a taking off on time percentage to put the others to shame: 83%.
This beats Ryanair (66.25%), easyJet (67%), British Airways (67%) and Wizz Air (69%).
The research was released by the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA).
The winning airline has been in operation for only a mere four years, beginning operations in May 2020.
Its 18 planes operated 15,823 flights in 2024, carrying passengers to various UK destinations such as Leeds, Glasgow, Edinburgh and Newquay.
In August 2021, they became the operator for the Aer Lingus Regional franchise working out of their central hub, Belfast City Airport
